The International Language School is an official agent for the Business Language testing Service (BULATS).

The service provides:

• BULATS Benchmarking Package
• Relevant, useful and reliable language tests in work contexts
• Test administration to suit the client company’s individual requirements
• Rapid turn around of test results
• Information to help the interpretation of test results
• Advice to companies on appropriate strategies for language testing, assessing language needs and training.

What is BULATS used for?

• Evaluating the language skills of staff within a company
• Evaluating the language skills of job applicants
• Placing learners on suitable courses for language training
• Screening learners who are unsuitable for the training courses provided
• Evaluating language training given
• Recommending suitable standard examinations for learners
• To provide testing support for language audits

We can offer the BULATS test in German, English, French and Spanish. The cost of an individual BULATS computer test is €50 and can be booked at any time to suit the client. The International Language School  also has BULATS examiners with whom the English writing test and the English speaking test can be taken. These tests can also be booked individually to be held at the school. The price for the speaking test is €80, for the writing test, €60. Should a student wish to take all three tests on the same day the price is €150. Please contact the school directly for an appointment. The “suite” of tests will take about three hours to complete.
